About the Programme
The Advanced Diploma in Insurance qualification has been designed and developed to fulfill a recognized need of providing a well-rounded, broad education that equips insurers with the subject content knowledge base and methodology that will enable them demonstrate competence and responsibility as insurance professionals. By becoming an Advanced Diploma qualified student, one will join a community of proven insurance professionals with the requisite skills and knowledge to develop the insurance sector.
Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the Advanced Diploma the following shall apply:
(i) A Diploma in Insurance or any other equivalent insurance related professional qualification OR
(ii) Holders of a Masters’ Degree or any other professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIM, Law (and others) with 8 years’ experience in insurance and on completion of 2 ITC DIU course units, Insurance Law (mandatory) and one core insurance paper.
Mode of Study/Examinations
Studies shall be conducted through the College’s online platform while examinations shall be written and conducted in a physical environment.

v. Economics and Insurance Business
Commencement Date for the July 2022 Intake
Monday 25th July 2022 to Friday 21st October 2022.
Examination Date
Monday 31st October 2022 to Friday 4th November 2022.

vii. Holders of DIU or an equivalent professional qualification

xi. Insurance employees without a professional qualification.
xii. Those who wish to build upon existing general academic qualifications, such as a degree, by obtaining an industry-specific qualification.
