ITC NOW OFFERING CERTIFIED ADVISOR IN INSURANCE (CAI) COURSE FOR CUSTOMER-FACING EMPLOYEES.Benon Sengendo
Together with NSSF, ITC has designed a structured training programme to equip customer-facing employees with the knowledge to facilitate insurance-related conversations with clients to assist them to make informed risk management decisions with a view to improving their livelihood.
The first cohort which consisted of 47 employees from NSSF enlightened trainees about the existing insurance products and services as well as the relevance of insurance to individuals and businesses.
As the call to invest and have multiple income streams intensifies, individuals from the formal and informal sectors turn to available professionals for advice to make informed investment decisions. These advisors include customer service executives, loans officers, relationship managers, auditors, accountants, managers, and others. The CAI course equips these professionals to provide sound advice about insurance as a viable option among others.
With mid-term access to NSSF savings now up and running, it is critical for beneficiaries to make informed decisions with their savings to avoid losing all their savings in non-profitable ventures and ponzi schemes to which several pensioners have fallen victim.
This course is available to companies and individuals who offer financial advisory services including lawyers, customer services executives, and professionals within the financial services sector.
