2. Start Course Application/Admission Registration
To start this application process, make sure you have an e-learning student account which can be used for your admission process, online lectures, online exams, student course forum, student invoicing & receipting, academic calendar, Quizzes and certificates.
Note that each course or program has unique documents required for a successful application. Some Required documents are;
For (COP & CIU) courses | Academic documents i.e. “O’’ level results slip for those applying for the Certificate programmes , or Possession of relevant insurance qualifications from a recognized institution of higher learning.
For DIU | “A” level results slip for those applying for the Diploma programmes (DIU & ADIU) or Bachelors degree from a recognized university or diploma from a recognized institution of higher learning, or A certificate in Insurance from ITC or anyother recognized professional training institution, or A professional qualification from anyother recognized non-insurance professional training institution.
For ADIU | A diploma in insurance or any other equivalent insurance related professional qualification, or Holders of a Master's degree or any other professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIM, Law (and others) with 8 years experience in insurance and on completion of 2 ITC DIU course units, Insurance Law (Mandatory) and one core insurance paper.
For Structured Programs, Short-term Trainings, Course Collaborations | Academic documents i.e. “O’’ level results slip for those applying for the Certificate programmes , or Possession of relevant insurance qualifications from a recognized institution of higher learning.

First of all, we would love to know if you are an active Member of ITC: If No, you will be required to Select a Membership Type, Receive an Invoice, and on payment to ITC receive a membership ID (used on course application process).
- If you are a member of ITC, You will then be required to fill out the course/program application process.
- Click Submit.
The Admissions office will confirm receipt of your application within 24 hours and send a message to your email notifying you of the outcome.
The Insurance Training College (ITC) of Uganda was established in 1964 as the training arm of Uganda’s Insurance sector. The College is recognized under the Insurance (amendment) Act 2011, which came into force in 2011 as the Insurance Institute of Uganda (IIU) and by the Insurance Act 2017 which transformed the Institute into the Insurance Training College of Uganda, a public tertiary institution.
