ITC Leadership and Mentorship Academy Hosts 1st Mentorship Lounge Session
by Cynthia Achieng

On September 6th, the Insurance Training College (ITC) Leadership and Mentorship Academy held its first Mentorship Lounge session, bringing together 15 Business Development professionals from various insurance companies including Britam Insurance Company Uganda, Jubilee Insurance Uganda, Liberty Uganda, UAP Old Mutual Uganda and Excel Insurance Company. This initiative aims to provide a platform for professionals to share experiences, challenges, and solutions for personal and corporate growth.

The session kicked off with an inspiring talk by Solomon Rubondo, a seasoned insurance professional, who shared his life story, demonstrating "The Power of One." His journey highlighted the importance of perseverance, hard work, and mentorship in achieving success. Richard Mwebesa, a business development professional, coach, and author, moderated the discussions that followed, guiding the group through meaningful conversations and insights.

Participants had the opportunity to share their experiences, challenges, and aspirations, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. The mentorship lounge provided valuable insights and practical advice for professional development and personal growth.

The Mentorship Lounge is a unique initiative that fosters collaboration, knowledge sharing, and growth among professionals. ITC is grateful to all members who responded to the call for mentorship and looks forward to continued success in nurturing leadership and talent in the insurance industry.

ITC is dedicated to developing a pipeline of talented and skilled professionals to lead the insurance industry forward by providing a supportive environment for professionals to connect and learn from each other. We look forward to having many more of these soon.

ITC partners with KenyaRe (Uganda) to boost insurance training.
