Kampala, Uganda – September 3, 2024 – The Insurance Training College (ITC) and Kenya Reinsurance Corporation Uganda (KenyaRe Uganda) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance insurance training in Uganda.
Under the direction of KenyaRe Uganda's Board Chairman, George Steven Okotha, and Regional Manager, Tadeo Nsubuga, and ITC's Board Vice Chairman, Moses Turyomurugyendo, and CEO, Saul Sseremba, the relationship aims to promote cooperation and knowledge sharing between the two organisations.

KenyaRe Uganda, with its mandate to train in insurance and reinsurance as one of its values, has demonstrated its commitment to industry development by collaborating with ITC.

• Sponsorships: KenyaRe Uganda will provide financial support for ITC's training programs and initiatives.
• Customized Training: The two organizations will jointly develop tailored training programs to address specific needs within the Ugandan insurance sector.
• Skills Development: ITC will leverage KenyaRe Uganda's expertise to offer advanced skills development programs for insurance professionals.
As KenyaRe Uganda celebrates its 5th anniversary in Uganda, this partnership marks a significant milestone in their commitment to contributing to the growth and development of the insurance industry.
