Certificate of Proficiency (COP)

The COP is a foundational course in insurance that introduces basic principles. It is a subset of the Certificate in Insurance (CIU) and is suitable for individuals beginning their careers in the insurance industry.

Intakes: Two (2) intakes per year for each study option

·       Long module - January and July

·       Self-study - March and September

·       Short module - April and October

Number of Papers: Two (2) papers

Programme Duration:

·       Long module - 3 months

·       Short module – 4 weeks

·       Self-study – 3 months

Mode of delivery: Online

Tuition fees: UGX 300,000 per paper for the long module and Self-study option.

                        UGX 400,000 per paper for the short module.
