They may be examinable or not, but participants receive a recognized certificate upon completion of the training. Once a student has completed any of these courses, they may receive an exemption from some of the units under the certified courses.

ILO Training - Insurance for SMEs
Effective risk management is at the core of all successful insurance programs, particularly inclusive insurance programs.
This course introduces a risk assessment framework and tool that any stakeholder in the insurance industry can use to identify key risks and better understand the drivers of those risks.
The tool also supports managing and mitigating the identified risks. It is envisaged that insurance industries will ultimately benefit from better risk outcomes using this tool.
This training is conducted in partnership with the International Labour Organization (ILO) supported and the Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda.
This course is suitable for insurance market practitioners as well as insurance supervisory staff who are involved in assessing and managing insurance risk, whether related to inclusive insurance or traditional insurance products.

Award in Health Insurance (AHI)
This is a health Insurance specialization program where participants study and sit examinations for two(2) papers

"A candidate who attains the Award in Health Insurance is eligible for exemptions upon enrolment for the Diploma in Insurance program(DIU)"

Award in Bancassurance (AWB)
The Insurance Training College has partnered with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) through the Chartered Bodies Alliance (CBA) a partnership between CISI, CII and Chartered Banker Institute to enhance and sustain the level of Professionalism in the financial Services Sector.
ITC is now an Accredited Training Partner (ATP) for the Award in Bancassurance (AWB), with Accredited Trainers to assist students undertake the Award.

Award in Agriculture Insurance
This is a specialization program where participants study and sit exams for a comprehensive Agriculture Insurance course (Underwriting, Placement of risks, Claims handling, roles of different stakeholders, laws, and regulations.
Designed for those working within Insurance Companies, brokerage firms, Loss adjusters, or reinsurers involved in handling Agriculture insurance.
